How to do it notes
Random JS Horizontal Ad
Display
Random JS Vertical Ad Display
Build it vertically or horizontally
in random.
Have as many ads as you want.
Shortly I will add more scripts when I can and areas for such like
XML & XSL Banner Scripts
and my latest work Spider
friendly image gallery. Also my own JS banner script I will share,
As seen on other sites. This same script can randomly choose an image
from a group of webmasters list files. This way webmasters with related
content can share ad space with great images and products. Two great
factors.
#1 You control your own listings. & format its look and links
#2 Your ad buyers get to be seen on other sites (more visibility)
#3 Your sites have more interesting ads & wider product links to offer.
When
to use them or not and how
I tested it and it works - Spider friendly JavaScript example. Based
closely on the pervious "Random ad display scripts".
I put this together an explanation of the positives and negatives. How to
best use them for your needs, visit back in a few days to see more updates.
Spider-Friendly JavaScript, or make it non Spider-Friendly. Its all how you
look at it, and when you want the links to count or not! or hide your
email address to make it harder for crawlers to grab them.
Spider-
Friendly JavaScript
Working examples: I will come back and dress these up with more examples
& codes.
Positives: When you want your out going links to matter.
Negatives: It slows down your site by how many links are in the script.
spider-friendly javascript.html
I have this page below inserting the above html page as an insert which still
works.
spider-friendly inserted.html
Non
Spider-Friendly JavaScript
To make a non spider friendly script, just use a script caller to
get the external file named.js to be called and loaded into your page
when visited.
Positives: Maybe for showing all those graphic ads & banners or text
links, without the spider to count all the links as outbound. But still
retain page load speed.
Negatives: Out going links and graphics are not seen or counted by the
web-spiders.
